Discover the heart of Iceland on a relaxed private day tour, combining dramatic landscapes, powerful geology, and rich history — all at your own pace.

🌍 Golden Circle Highlights

Þingvellir National Park

Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates at Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Iceland’s first parliament, founded in the year 930.

This remarkable location blends geology, history, and culture, showing how Iceland was shaped both naturally and politically.

Geysir Geothermal Area

Visit the famous geothermal valley where Strokkur geyser erupts every few minutes, sending hot water high into the air.

Here, your guide explains how geothermal energy works in Iceland and why the country sits on one of the most active volcanic systems in the world.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall,” is one of Iceland’s most powerful and iconic waterfalls, plunging dramatically into a rugged canyon.

You’ll hear the story of how Gullfoss was saved from destruction and why it became a symbol of Icelandic environmental pride and resilience.

Highligts

Þingvellir National Park, UNESCO world heritage site. In the area is Iceland‘s largest lake and the place where the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia split and drift apart. Þingvellir is also the birth place of the Old Icelandic Commonwealth and the Alþingi assembly, where Iceland’s most powerful leaders met to decide on legislation and carry out brutal viking-age justice.

Laugarvatn is a small village by a lake with the same name. In spite of being a small village it’s rich of history and culture.

Gullfoss waterfall, created by the river Hvítá, which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 33 m (109 ft.) deep into the narrow Hvítárgljúfur Canyon. At Gullfoss waterfall you can take a short walk at the pathway and get right up close to this powerful waterfall and feel the mist of glacial water on your face.

Geysir geothermal area where the geyser shoots a column of water up to 25 metres (84 ft.) into the air every 4-6 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces. This area is an impressive collage of bubbling mud pools and hissing steam vents.
