This stop is peaceful, emotional, and unforgettable — one of Iceland’s most photographed natural wonders.

Diamond Beach
Just across the road, glacier ice washes back onto black volcanic sand, sparkling like diamonds. Every visit is different, as the ice shapes change daily.

Fjallsárlón (optional / time permitting)
A quieter, less crowded glacier lagoon offering close views of the glacier tongue and surrounding mountains.

For guests seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, an Ice Cave Tour can be added near the Glacier Lagoon area.

Ice caves are naturally formed tunnels inside the glacier, shaped by meltwater and freezing temperatures. Inside, the ice often glows deep blue or crystal white, with textures resembling frozen waves and glass.
