We are Ruth Nadala Pétursdóttir and Kristófer Alexandersson — the husband-and-wife team behind Travel Service Iceland.
Our story begins across continents:
Ruth, born and raised in Kenya, came to Iceland with strength, courage, and a dream of building something meaningful. Kristófer, a proud Icelander, grew up surrounded by this land’s powerful beauty and deep-rooted traditions.
When we met, we didn’t just find love — we found a shared vision.
We wanted to offer something more than just transportation or tours.
We wanted to create travel with heart — grounded in trust, care, and real Icelandic hospitality.
So we started Travel Service Iceland — a private travel company built on:
