My name is Ruth Nadala Pétursdóttir, and this is the story behind Travel Service Iceland.

I was born and raised in Kenya, where life taught me resilience, responsibility, and the power of kindness. I came from humble beginnings, but my heart was always full of big dreams. I dreamed of travel, of building something meaningful, and of creating a life rooted in service and strength.

When I moved to Iceland, I was stepping into a whole new world — one filled with icy beauty, endless skies, and unfamiliar roads. But I embraced it all. This country welcomed me, and I built a life here with the man I love, Kristófer Alexandersson, who now stands by me as my husband and co-dreamer.

Together, we started Travel Service Iceland not just as a business, but as a reflection of who we are:
