From Kenya to Iceland — a journey of love, courage, and service

My name is Ruth Nadala Pétursdóttir, and I am the founder of Travel Service Iceland.

Born and raised in Kenya, I moved to Iceland with a dream — to build a life filled with purpose, family, and adventure. Iceland became my second home, and over time, I fell deeply in love with its beauty, culture, and people.

But I also saw something missing:
A more human, warm, and flexible way to travel — especially for those who value safety, comfort, and connection.

So, with my husband Kristófer Alexandersson, I started this company. Not just to drive people from one place to another, but to offer something more:

• And real Icelandic insight from someone who sees the country with both local pride and global understanding

This is more than a business — it’s a calling.
I’ve walked my own path of challenge, strength, and joy — and I bring that same spirit into how I serve every guest.
