Deildartunguhver Hot spring is Europe's most powerful hot spring. It provides 180 l/sec of 100°C hot water. Most of the water used for central heating in the towns of Borgarnes and Akranes is taken from Deildartunguhver. The hot water flows by 64 km long pipeline. The longest pipeline for hot water in Iceland.
Reykholt and Snorralaug. Reykholt is a village in the valley called Reykholtsdalur. Reykholt was at one time one of the intellectual centers of the island. Here lived in the Middle Ages one of the most important persons in Icelandic history: Snorri Sturluson. Snorri built the first hot tub in Iceland. We will see this hot tub.
Hraunfossar Watherfalls is one of the most interesting natural wonders in island. Waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming over a distance of about 900 metres out of the a lava field (Hallmundarhraun) which flowed from an eruption of one of the volcanoes lying under the glacier (Langjökull).
Barnafossar watherfalls is in the rivir Hvita in Borgarfjordur.
